"Very friendly stuff, good room size but quite simple"

"The whole hotel was generally a bit “tired”. It’s a beautiful building in a lovely location, but needs a refurbishment now. The staff were mainly helpful , breakfast wasn’t the best though . The spa needs some TLC also."

"We used the spa which was lovely, everywhere was clean and tidy could have done with a refresh on the bed head board , staff very good, breakfast a bit disappointing as it was in pots to keep warm , which sort of steamed everything"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate. We had an evening meal which was lovely. The choice for breakfast was amazing from the fresh fruit to the cooked breakfast. Would recommend and definitely stay again"

"Lovely building and very close to town centre, all the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day. Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choices and really well done. Menu only, no buffet for juice or pastries or any extras but it was all prepared fresh and served quickly with generous portions."
