"Such a quaint property in a historic home turned into a b & b. The living room and kitchen were such welcoming spaces with beautiful art pieces on the wall and bookcases. The room we stayed in was pretty small, luckily the warmness of the owner and the common spaces made us feel taken care of and at home. "
" Location. It was centrally located with lots of shopping and good eateries. The Hotel itself was very comfortable, clean with friendly and helpful staff."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very centrally located and very charming. Parking was an issue at the beginning but by the end of our stay it was better"
"The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. They made our stay lovely. We recommend getting bagels and donuts from the bakery in the front and eating them in the little greenhouse in the courtyard. The area was touristy but really convenient and fun."
"Well-located hotel witing easy walking distance to Hallgrimskirkja (big church in Reykjavik) and next to one end of the main shopping street. Hotels in this area are very expensive, and this was the cheapest one we found. Staff is friendly and helpful. Public areas are clean and well-furnished. Breakfast was good. Our room was pleasant, clean, and had everything we needed. We've been to Reykjavik before, on a tour. Don't recall the name of the hotel, which was OK, but certainly not in this area. It was in a dull, lifeless area of the city. the Miðgarður by Center Hotels was so much better. I higly recommend it."
"Great location, parking is offsite and cost money. TV kept dropping connection. Location is great and staff friendly. I stayed in room 235 and its right next to a main walkway which was noisy and music from a local bar was obvious. "
"We stayed for 2 nights and it was a great stay. Rooms were nice and clean and we had a balcony room. It is right in the centre of town and next to a grocery store and many restaurants and shops. Will not hesitate to stay here again. "
"Beautiful property with easy access to area around. Rooms were clean and loved having lockers. Bathrooms were a bit untidy but nothing to be unexpected when staying in a hostel. Be sure to bring your own towel as they charge for rental of same (1000 Icelandic Kronas). Easy check in/out with 24 hour front desk service. Would recommend"
"Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It is probably the most convenient hotel to stay at for the Reykjavík Marathon as it located right by the finish area and a short walk to the starting area. If you’re considering running in 2026 make your reservation there early. Restaurants and shops are all just a short walk from the property. There’s no parking on the premises but the staff will help you figure out what app to use to easily use the public parking that is nearby. "
"The front desk was extremely helpful and professional .They were more than helpful with excursions ,reservations and room selection. The 2 restaurants/ bars were clean and the food was really good with great service."
