"Central Hotel is located on the U6 BVG metro line. Work is being done on the U Holzerhausen Station but there are frequent shuttle buses that take you to Kurt Schumacher station where you transfer from the bus to the Underground metro train. It takes about 30 minutes to get into town. The hotel provides a nice breakfast. There are about a dozen free parking spaces on the hotel property, on a first come first served basis. Free street parking is a backup plan if all the hotel parking spaces...

"I picked this hotel because it was close to Tegel airport, My flight left at 10:45 am and I had a rental car. I parked my car right in front of the hotel. BUT: they were not serving breakfast, in spite of the fact that the website said that breakfast could be bought The worst part is that they would not accept credit card payment. At the end of a trip, people are usually low on cash. I had to walk for 20 minutes each way to get to a U-tube station here I could get some money out from an ATM....
