"We stayed for 2 weeks in July 2026. Nick was incredibly responsive and helpful. Went above and beyond to install handrails on his pool and hot tub to make them more accessible for us. Home was spotless, well stocked, comfortable and ideal. House is located in a private setting, all one level with plenty of space, but close to the beach, restaurants, shopping. The pool was great, with lots of shaded outdoor seating, BBQ and plenty of pool towels. We had a great time! Would love to stay there again!"

"Our week at Casa Lone Jack was perfect. I brought my family of 12 to Encinitas for a family vacation and the house was just the right size. It’s beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and has everything you could possibly need — a well-appointed kitchen, tons of toys, books and games for adults and kids, and a gorgeous pool that we all enjoyed. Our host, Heather, was very responsive and offered suggestions on things to do in the area. We all agreed it was the nicest home we ever rented. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful and spacious home in a prime coastal area. The home was perfect for a large group offering several gathering areas throughout the home and outside patios — as well as a lush secluded garden near the koi pond. The kitchen was well-equipped with gourmet appliances, ample dishware/cookware and large counter spaces to accommodate several people working in the kitchen at the same time. When we arrived the home was welcoming and immaculate; the host was always quick to respond to inquiries. Highly recommended!"

"A cozy little cottage in Cardiff - exactly what we were in search of! Property was sparkling clean, well appointed - there was almost nothing we did not have that we needed. A few recommended improvements would make it 100% perfect. More full sized dinner plates - only four left me washing constantly. Lots of small salad plates and bowls - just need more large dinner plates. Exterior lighting was not great - back patio light fixture bulbs were very low wattage and one was burnt out. Landscape lighting was not functional, so patio and pool area were extremely dark. The owner graciously came over with four solar-powered lamps, but those were a bit spotty in their functionality and the yard could use about 4-6 additional. All in all, the location - walkable to everything - cottage itself, its furnishings, pool, and both front and back yards are lovely! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat - hopefully it’s available next time we are in town!"

"This property worked well for our visit to CA. Judy and Beau made us feel welcome and safe at this property. We were in town for a sports event not far away from Cardiff and this worked well for myself and two kids. The home was well stocked with the home away from home items to assist in our stay. Their communication was great and they are so kind and responsive. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area. Thank you for having us!"
