Overall hotel was good. Pool was small for the size of facility. Busy after a padres game day. Under the cabinets could be cleaned up. We check to make sure our kids haven’t miss placed anything, could use a cleaning under there.

I stayed at The Sofia Hotel in downtown San Diego and loved its mix of historic charm and modern comfort. The location is excellent—just steps from the Gaslamp Quarter, the waterfront, and conveniently close to the Santa Fe train station, making travel super easy.

No Fridge, easily get over charged for the mini bar. Never use the mini bar, but got charged after checked out without any notification.

The property is in a good location. It’s more like a motel than a hotel in that there are no hallways everything‘s outside. That’s not good or bad. It’s just the observation. The Property shows wear and tear, pretty dirty everywhere outside, especially stairwells. I might as well be walking up and down the steps in the hallways of the subway as dirty as they were. The parking is convenient and good for a hotel. Kitchen availabilities too limited, especially on the weekends. The doors had big gaps under them so we had spiders and bugs coming in on a regular basis. There’s one air conditioner in the wall along the sliding glass door and you have to keep that cranked to extremely cold just to cool the bathroom and the sink area. Overall, we dealt with it for three nights, but honestly, unless I don’t have any other choice, I’ll find elsewhere to stay.

I enjoyed the quietness of the terrace room and how close the shopping area and park are. Great location, simple check in, would love to visit again
