They have just renovated the rooms, thus those rooms are clean, nice and new.
My deluxe twin room came with balcony but it was just with Air-Con outdoor units, so not suitable to be used.
Staffs are nice and friendly and always willing to serve.
The complementary breakfast buffet was boring after 2 days, because it kept repeating the same time everyday.
But overall, everything was good enough for its price.
Plus point is that it is in Local's area, so everything, such as food, clothes, family massage, around is cheap.
It is a-must-to-try Grilled Fish and Night Market in front of the national stadium, near the hotel, at night.
Minus point is that it is quite far from the Foreigners' area.
Nasa Vegas hotel is a lovely hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the doormen to the receptionists to even the girl who answer their hundread numbers incoming call when I'd check up on the reservation.
The room are nicely decorated and spacious. The bathroom were nice in a good size as well as modern appliances. We had one problem where the toilet didn't flush but they sent someone up immediately to fix it.
Breakfast was very tasty. Hotel is in a great area for traveler because of its location which is close to the Airport Rail Link. That's awesome!
From the off the staff couldn't find my booking which sent me into a blind panic. They giggled it off when they did find it completely ignoring the fact I just spent 1000 baht in calls to Expedia.
The rooms were a lot bigger than I was expecting and very clean but very, very dim. Was such a pain having to turn on/off 5 to 6 light switches every night. And even with all lights on was still too dim. Also the do not disturb button didn't work so had to latch the door.
Breakfast was really poor and the staff didn't seem to check if I was actually eligible for breakfast. The gym was pointless, pool was big standard.
With regards to the staff the bell captain earns all the points went above and beyond a couple of times. And you'll need to use him as getting taxis to and from the hotel is difficult at best. I'd recommend you learn how to say the address in Thai.

The SC Park Hotel was perfect for my stay in Bangkok as it was very close to Town in Town where many of the model agencies are located. The hotel was also very convenient, offering an ATM, two restaurants, a bar and coffee shop within it's immediate confines. The room was as pictured and described, but the twin beds were hard as rocks, although I slept quite well on them after a couple of nights. The "coffee maker" was not an actual coffee maker, but actually a kettle. The hotel only offered instant coffee in the room, and because I had brought my own coffee from Canada, it was disappointing. I tried explaining this daily for 10 days but although the front desk told me that they would send a coffee maker, that did not happen. The front desk staff were polite and efficient but English was difficult for them and it was sometimes hard to communicate what I needed. The business center offered computers, but no printer, so the items that you needed to get printed had to be sent to the hotel business email. My airline boarding passes were sent to this address but the hotel was unable to open the attachments or print these out for me. They were able to open and print the certificates for the excursions that I had booked on line for various outings and tours in Bangkok. The pool deck and area was lovely and the pool was great to enjoy in the high temperatures, but the pool staff were difficult to find, unfriendly and suspicious when I asked for a towel for the pool.
"cheap n cheerful; a few nights before leaving BKK"
just needed somewhere inexpensive to stay for a few nights
booking in was fine but the electric was off the day i arrived for a few hours which was a little awkward as it meant no Inet. Awkward as an individual requiring wifi as an essential.
Buuut - altho i was supposed to pay extra as per conditions, they did let me have the 2 days i was there for free, probably in respect of no availability for most of the first day i was there
