"Great location, stunning building, good rooms at reasonable rates Disappointed to be charged parking after spending over £400 on 3 rooms Reception didn’t seem to know where the gym was, google map more useful"

"The staff were friendly and helpful when it came to places to visit nearby. The continental breakfast was lovely and the 2 course dinner was good value for money. The swimming pool, sauna and steam were well maintained however our room needed a few repairs and the towels had seen better days. We would give it an 8/10"

"I enjoyed the stay and it was peaceful. Loved the leisure facilities. Breakfast ok as its the basic intercontinental. Environment good and cool but it would be nice for cool air fan to be available in the room if not AC to accommodate the current hot weather. Also, TV is not a smart TV to reflect the standard of modern hotels."

"My son and I stay here for one night every year in the summer holidays with our dog for a little get away. We love it! The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the view is incredible!"

"A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble."

"Everything is done properly here. Excellent service in every area. Rooms are wonderful. Very quiet nights sleep. Fantastic bedding. Excellent parking with our car underground out of the sun. Fantastic breakfast. We will be returning. You wouldn't believe you were so close to everything in Cheltenham"
