Another Trip to Punta Cana!

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Pros: So much to do! Rooms are top notch and very comfortable. Love the pools and friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Few times room service was later than they said but were very friendly and apologetic. Not a big deal at all! Just some hungry girls haha
Location: Loved the cave expedition this year, something fun and different. Spend most of our time at the pools because close to bars for drinks and food.
Overall, as always, the trip was wonderful! This was my third year in a row to stay at the Hard Rock. We always to private transportation to and from the airport to make travel time quicker so you don't stop at others hotels! We stayed in building 7A which was perfect! Not too far from the main lobby and right by the other places to eat, the pools, and the beautiful beach! Love all of the activities they have planned every day throughout the days! We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute of it. This year we experienced the Cave exploration excursion and it was pretty fun. As always, the staff was so friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is a blast. I came home so sad that I had to leave but already anticipating my trip again next year!

beautiful hotel

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Beautiful hotel, food could be better, property is enormous so there's a lot of walking. Buildings should be painted differently so you know exactly where you are at all times. Takes a few days to find your way.

Best experience

The staff was wonderfully accommodating. This is the cleanest resort we have ever stayed at. We will definitely go back. This all inclusive resort was well worth the money.

Honeymooners paradise!

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: ORO Night Club - being a latino in a latin country I was expecting more variety of latin music at the club. It was RB and RAP all the time.
We were on our honeymoon, stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. We did not want to leave this place. Even as a non-member at arrival you are treated like royalty. The variety in dining, drinks, activities and entertainment wont give way to a dull moment at this resort. We are definitely coming back with the family!

Excellent All-inclusive Hotel

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Pros: Everything! It's a beautiful all-inclusive resort with resort credits that can be applied to a variety of activities from spa to excursions.
Cons: Parts of the hotel could use some renovations. The wedding planning process can be streamlined if there is one coordinator from beginning to end.
We had our wedding at the resort and it was excellent. Although we chose the complimentary package, we were still treated specially. The on-site wedding coordinator is very helpful and professional. The location for our ceremony was also beautiful. We would highly recommend this hotel for destination wedding.

The entire family had fun.

Posted 30-Jun-2016
Pros: Cleanliness, staff, location. Beach front, pools, bars, restaurants.
Cons: The golf clubs they rent at the golf course sucked for the price you pay. Course was great, except the greens were rather slow.
Location: Great location. Not to far from airport or other activities.
We really enjoyed our stay. Depending on your personal preference you should look at the property and request a room based on your needs ie; close to the beach, close to the casino, etc. The meals were good and the dinners were very good. They could use an area more geared for teenagers 13-17. Maybe a dance club or hangout room like on cruise ships. We would do it again.

Not what we expected for this resort

Posted 30-Jun-2016
This is a mega resort so unless you want to walk 6-7 miles a day back and forth to your room, eating, beach, pools, front desk, etc.....this isn't the resort for you. They do have a trolley that runs 24/7 but having to wait for it in the heat and sometimes it's not the right one or too full we would give up and start walking. Locked out of room 3 times and had to wait for them to fix battery on lock. Food was "okay", nothing spectacular. Pools close at 6, including bars so wasn't too happy about that. Beach was beautiful. We used our room credits one day for a Bali bed but they are too far from the water. We stayed maybe an hour and went to the pool where we could cool down if we wanted to. We paid extra for an upgraded room and it was the same as all the other rooms, no ocean view. There are no ocean/beach front rooms. This is a party resort, very loud. Great if you have kids because they seem to have lots for three to do. The Rock Spa was wonderful! I did do that every day.....do the hydrotherapy before your services it's worth it. We wished we had booked the Zoetry instead, boutique hotels are more our style!
