Great resort. Staff were extremely friendly and curteous. Restaurant food was sub par. A lot of things to do there including relaxing on the beautiful beach. We really enjoyed the slingshot and parasailing. My recommendation is to wear s protective sunscreen if you’re going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time. But overall the stay there was great,

I just came back from visiting the Hard Rock Punta Cana Hotel. I traveled with my boyfriend and 9 year old son. Overall we had a great experience. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Any issues we had was fixed in less than 20 minutes. The property was massive. I would recommend renting a golf cart for $90.00 per day. The golf cart was a life saver. The hotel does provide trolley’s every 15 minutes to take you around the property. The pools were all beautiful. Our favorite was the main pool because they had daily activities and great music. For me the food was mediocre at best. The only thing I can say that I honestly enjoyed was Zen(Japanese) restaurant. The rooms were very nice. Bathroom was extremely spacious. I only wish the beds were more comfortable. They really need to provide pillows that aren’t miniature. It was very hard to get comfortable with the pillows. The Rock Spa was my favorite! Please use your resort credits to book a spa. You will have to pay 20% of the cost. Overall I would definitely go back.

Hard rock hotel was nice nice VIEWS nice beach!but overall pricey we paid about 600$ a night, booked an extra night through another website because our friends were staying longer and it wasn’t worth it at all comprared to so many other resorts I been to. At check In I was told I would get a close room. I don’t know if the guy was playing with me but his exact words were “I am going to put you close to everything that will be building 2” we were EXTREMELY FAR everytime we had to take that walk it was a drag. Buildings are confusing we would get kind lost everyday trying to get back and forget trying to find your room if u are drunk! The rooms aren’t that upto date bathroom is beautiful but fridge area was falling apart and then wood was falling out into pieces and jacuzzi was nasty I turned it on filled up and switched on the bubbles before I got in and there was brown stuff all over the water like lotion or hair conditioner from prior use or like the filters needed to be changed. Parts of it was also broke. But room service was the BOMB and the 3 guys who cooked the meat at the buffet called “the market” the days I was there deserve a prize! I forgot their names but they were extremely attentive and helpful everytime me and my boyfriend would come in. Also the hotel is soooo big we only got to see 3 pools! &they have ALOT because everytime we would want to explore around the carts going around were always full, and we were tired of walking just wanted to relax eat and drink.

Nice Hotel on a Beautiful Beach

Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for our April family vacation. The ride from the airport was about an hour taking the shared transport. We were upgraded to a family suite upon checking in. We were in bldg 7B, the room was a little run down; sloppy paint job, smudges on the wall, bugs in the bathroom, confusing light switches and general wear and tear. The resort is huge and requires a lot of walking. Reservations were required at most restaurants. We were told to make them at each of the restaurants, then found out later in the week that there was a location near the lobby where you could make them. All restaurants were good. We ate at Zen (show cooking) a couple times as well as their Brazilian steakhouse - the grilled pineapple was amazing. The actual steakhouse was just okay. Each restaurant did a drink of the night outside to enjoy while you waited. The kids enjoyed the abundance of ice cream throughout the resort. Most of the staff was pleasant, but one could certainly tell those who worked for tips from those that were just there for a job. That said, I've stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and I think Punta Cana has the most challenging language barrier. The beach was amazing, big and sandy! It was windy, but welcomed as the sun was hot. As this was a quick trip didn't use the spa or casino. Golf course looked amazing. Would consider another trip here in the future.

Entertainment Staff

The entertainment staff did a really good job hosting all the pool side activities. Chino and Baby Face went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure your having a great time! They definitely made our first Hard Rock experience!

Resort is okay

I didn’t like that the room was to far from everything, food was okay not that great and the beach the waves ares to high not go with children is very dangerous even for adults .

Awesome beach!!!

The beach was really awesome, so big, clean, you never felt crowded. I travel with kids and I wouldn't really call it a family hotel. It is great if you stay within the kids pool (very cool) and kids area, but the other pools not so much for kids....kind of inappropriate contests for kids, big groups of adults drinking and having a good time, not aware that there are kids around them. People can smoke at the pool and other areas. It is truly an all inclusive hotel, the food was great, 9 restaurants with food from around the world, you have to try Zen and Ipanema for dinner. You have to try the spa, you can use hotel credits so you only pay 20% for service fee and it is a truly spa experience, before your massage you spend one hour going to the different treatments and rooms One night we didn't have hot water in the room, few nights we were woke up by the smell of smoke (they said that it was outside the property) and few other days we were woke up by people working outside our room before 6 am The staff was great, always in a good mood and happy to help.

vacation with harassment and racial profiling

If you or any of your kids loose any of your personal belongings then please do not expect to get it back as the hotel lost and found dept is of no help and looks like the staff in the property do not turn in things found in the property left by the hotel guest. Over worked and under paid staff also as soon as you complete check in there are bunch of marketing people will approach you for harassment to join their membership RIDICULOUS IS THE WORD They also go to the extend of profiling other fellow guest and lastly their resort credit point is full of HOAX, the 20% which they charge extra is the actual charge for the activity.
