"Booked as a place to stay after a gig. For £50 I was expecting too much - just a basic room. The room was clean, bed was very comfy, there was a small tv, a kettle, and a good sized bathroom. The room was a nice size too. Perfect for me (by myself) but would have been plenty of space for 2 people too. Water pressure was good and the shower was nice and roomy. Gentleman on reception was really friendly and helped me sign up to the rewards program which got me a free pint! Location was fantastic. Really close to the city centre and next to a Tesco. Not too far to walk in the evening. Also about a 12 min walk from the station. I am already planning a return trip to explore the city and will 100% be rebooking to stay here. "

"​We felt incredibly lucky to find The Orchard Hotel after a terrible experience at another local property forced us to move out late in the evening. It turned out to be an absolute blessing in disguise, and this will absolutely be our hotel of choice for all our family visits to Nottingham from now on. ​From the moment we arrived, we loved everything about it. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless, and the overall style and design of the hotel are beautiful and contemporary. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after a stressful evening. To top it off, the breakfast was fantastic. ​The only minor downside is that we would have loved for the swimming pool to be located directly within the hotel itself rather than over at the sports centre, but it didn't take away from an otherwise wonderful stay. ​Thank you to the team for turning our weekend around, we can’t wait to come back! "

"Stayed here for one night. Rooms and bathrooms very dated and tired. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. I went down for breakfast about 8am and everything was cold and had run out. No juice machine, just empty jugs. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this hotel."

"The location, 800 yards from the train station, was why I booked a room for two nights in the first place. The hotel's staff was very helpful, pleasant, and went out of their way to help me. The hotel's room was small compared to others I stayed at during my trip, but it had all I needed, and the bed gave me two nights of wonderful, restful sleep."

"Rooms not as big as the pics. Drainage in sink and shower poor. Toilet leaked and it’s pretty noisy. Not sure how it has 4 stars. 2 tops"

"While on Hotels.com states free WIFI, worth noting that it is only free if you sign up to Hilton rewards program and then it is not easy to get on the WiFi, else they want to charge £14.99 per day when most hotels provide free WiFi."
