"Lovely stay. Some inconsiderate guests that make a noise can be disruptive but a sound night's sleep had on comfortable beds once they shut up. Anyone taking dogs to the site too.... Take the poo bag to the bins provided! Great breakfast selection and lovely evening meals "

"Hot water ran out in the lodge and we had to call someone to fix it be because the boiler had “tripped”. Got to breakfast which we had paid for to fine it was £2 each extra for a “barista” coffee and £5 extra for smoke salmon and scrambled eggs. We didn’t have either and won’t be going again. Hate places that try to wring extra cash out of you at every opportunity- how much do you want to charge for breakfast ?"

"This is a pleasant hotel located right in the centre of Alnwick, within easy walking distance of the shops, market, castle, and gardens. The building is a former coaching inn and, considering its age, is in very good condition. We stayed for four nights on a bed‑and‑breakfast basis in an executive double room. Parking is convenient and located at the rear of the hotel. Check‑in was quick and straightforward. Our room was spacious and airy, with a comfortable king‑size bed. The bathroom was modern and well maintained. The room was quiet, and we both slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was acceptable, although we would have preferred freshly cooked hot food rather than the buffet‑style option provided. We ate dinner in the hotel once; the food was fine, but there are better dining options available locally in the town. Overall, the staff were friendly, pleasant, and helpful, and our stay was comfortable."

"Positives: We arrived late in the evening but this wasn't a problem as we were able to check in easily ourselves. Property was very spacious, modern and clean. Wonderful views to the sea and if you are up early, you can see a fabulous sunrise. Negatives: The kitchen was quite cold and the main bedroom too warm. A light by the check in box would be useful too but if you have a phone with a light you can manage this ok."

"The cottage was beautiful, inside and out, We loved our stay, in an exceptional clean tastefully, comfortable , Well equipped Cottage, The garden was gorgeous, Loved watching all the birds in the garden, enjoying seed and bread, They had a lovely Christmas day also. Thank you for welcome pack."

"In anticipation of my trip, I reached out to host to ask for check in procedure advised by VRBO, to be told bluntly that it would be sent on the day. Still not received on the day, messaged again, told it would be sent sometime that day. Arrived at property and waited outside as no code, received after a further phone call. Honestly felt the Garden area, was in need of a clean, large ‘day bed’ was dirty and well worn. Patio area not used as a result.House itself was nice, small but had everything including Nespresso machine with some pods. Bathroom is tired and some mould, with slow draining plug which filled within minutes.Overall left disappointment, as Communications with host could easily have been better, nice secluded location, but I felt let down."
