"The Cottage was clean, cosy, modern and exactly as depicted in the website details.Well appointed in general with high end kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, settee and armchairs.It had an attractive exterior cosy cottage look, nice garden with barbecue available.The layout of the main lounge is a bit disjointed due to the remaining open hearth and heater being right in the middle of the room ( this was evident in the website photos so no complaints) but it meant we had to move the 2 armchairs up next to the settee- not a problem more an observation!One room has an en-suite and no TV- the other has a TV but a separate bathroom. The shower units are very small but the showers themselves are great!Again just observations!The property could do with a bit more general cutlery , crockery and glassware- what is provided is of excellent quality but it meant that we were having to wash up more regularly than necessary! Observation again!Overall The Cottage is a really nice property, quiet location off road and very close to the excellent Plough pub and Running Fox tearoom and more.Any queries we had were replied to in a very timely, helpful and considerate manner and we would specifically like to compliment Paula for her support."

"Peace and tranquility is the best way to describe Dogdaisy cottage and our dog loved the enclosed garden.We had a fantastic week here, the cottage is a short drive to Alnwick and alnmouth.The views from the cottage across the landscape are beautiful and very relaxing to sit in the garden and relax"

"Lovely cottage, super clean and beautifully renovated. We really appreciated the crisps and dog treats :) Parking right outside was handy. Beautiful log burner for a cosy night. Beds were super comfy. My daughter loved the smart-tech in the bathroom showing how much her shower cost. A bit tricky with our 4-legged friends. Stairs too steep for our small dogs, but we barricaded the bottom with our suitcases ok. We were expecting a Deck/Patio as listed but its an open area down some stone steps, so be ready to pop your dogs on the lead if they need to go out. Host was very friendly and instructions were super clear."

"The cottage was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The beds were all super comfy and there was plenty of outdoor space in the gardens. We made use of the communal tennis court which was a great added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Mill House and would absolutely return again. Check in was nice and easy, and the host Joanne was lovey when we needed to communicate. We would definitely recommend."

"A lovely, cosy, clean and well equipped cottage. Conveniently located for walks in Cheviots or the many beautiful coastal villages.We watched lovely sunsets from the garden.As the cottage is very close to the road there was traffic noise - especially at commuter times, however this would not stop us from returning to this lovely cottage which is great value for money.Thank you to the owners."
