"Room was clean, bathroom tired and old, but functional. I stay often through work, its well located and staff always friendly. Dinner menu isn't great, but a great pub within walking distance (3 mins). Breakfast is good."

Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House

"Overall a good experience. We upgraded to a deluxe room as our original room had no a/c ( which I find odd for a modern hotel). The upgrade was definitely worth it; a bigger room, nice free minibar and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The hotel was nice and quiet and had a relaxing feel. Staff were friendly if not super service minded however, this did not detract from the experience. Food selection was adequate but not mind blowing - the burger was very nice. The setting was lovely as was the surrounding area."

"Our long lasting impression will be the excellent attentive, helpful and friendliness of all the staff we encountered. Also, the hotel location was perfectly placed next to the beautiful river Avon and with easy walking distance to the centre of Salisbury."
Gray Manor Hotel

"We occupied room 24, where we received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and supportive. Overall, the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. However, the toilet closet was not entirely clean from the previous guest's use. I reported this to the staff, who promptly came to the room to conduct their checks. They returned to inform me that it was a stain on the side rather than dirt. I did not want to impose further, as they were very kind and approachable. I returned to the room and cleaned the toilet myself before using it. We enjoyed a pleasant breakfast, and my son particularly liked their breakfast menu. Overall, the staff were very kind and approachable, making it a good place to stay. The customer service is trustworthy.Also,they valued people of every ethnicity and interacted with them respectfully."
