"Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Hotel centrally situated next to bus stops and train station and opposite the beach. Only drawback for us was the very limited parking."

"We originally had a room in the main hotel which was large but we hadn’t spotted that they had lodges too. We upgraded to a lodge with hot tub for my wife’s 50th. Loved it. Well appointed and staff could not do enough for us. Went way above what was required and we are very grateful. Check in is in the coach house which is the restaurant. Now, food! Had breakfast there an evening meal and Sunday lunch. The standard is superb, loved it. The roast was huge and very very well done one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Excellent. Had a prawn starter both nights and that was spot on. Burger was nailed totally. Applause to the team. Breaky was always first class well presented and staff absolutely lovely Thanks for a great weekend"

"Absolutely excellent Inn, very friendly courteous staff, just couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting. Scenery was amazing as Exmoor is anyway. Will be going again in the not too distant future that's for sure"
