"I had to visit Penzance as my cousin passed away. I travelled alone and found the property easily. Parked across the road, Code to get in was great, Room bright, clean and warm. Spacious. Room to hang clothes, Fridge for snacks I had with me, Shower lovely and hot. Big TV with plenty of channels. Best bit was the bed. I suffer with back and many times if I stay away I always have backache by the morning. No backache all week.The only problem I had was I could not connect to the Wi Fi. It wasn't...

"We stayed 4 nights in a room with sea view from bay window. Room was excellent, comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The whole house was spotless and freshly painted and the breakfast room was well stocked. Breakfast was superb, great eggs, and the service first class. The hosts, Owen & Margaret were very friendly and helpful and minor issues, like a non working lamp were attended to promptly. We would heartily recommend anyone to stay at this guest house. "

Was asked for a name, no ID check (I'm not sure what I think of that) and no deposit needed/requested (which I'm happy about) and the lady at the desk went through all of the general stuff you'd expect them to. So, the room. It is modern looking, clean and better than the prior hotel we stayed in when we went to London last year. However, there are issues with this one, both safety and experience issues just like the other one but here they are: - Damp (water) patches around...

"Beautiful sea view studio with everything we needed. Short walk to the beach and coastal walk to Portscatho passing the Hidden Hut cafe is a must. Very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Lovely swimming pool which you book to use just for your own use. Cannot fault anything. "

"Camelot Guest Find is a little gem. Great location near the centre of town, lovely hosts and a fab breakfast. I had a very cute single room with everything I needed. Little extras like proper tea and plenty of water made my stay very enjoyable."

We stayed in double ensuite room (Room 5) which had stunning views of Clodgy Point, Porthmeor Beach and the armchairs helped soak in the views every morning and evening during our stay. "Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."

"Charming old tea rooms which is now a lovely chalet with everything needed. Short drive to Falmouth and its facilities Couldn't get closer to the beach. Owner very helpful and responsive to queries. Left feeling recharged and rested. Would definitely go back."
