We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we found the space to be more than comfortable and spacious. The yurt itself was wonderfully furnished and the kitchen outside well equipped for all cooking needs. Hosts Kate and Terry were always friendly, approachable and on hand to help. The communal facilities were spotlessly clean and showers nice and hot. It was a real bonus having a kitchen with electricity, fridge space and a lock box for charging. There was even a hairdryer available for use in the communal toilet area! Each yurt is located in its own field so we have plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. The children loved seeing the goats every day and popping around to see the pigs too. Thank you for a fantastic break and escape. We stayed in one of the Mongolian yurts, which was unlike any other accommodation we've experienced and really added to the charm — it was the main reason we booked. The yurt was rustic yet very comfortable, perfect balance. We loved being surrounded by farm animals and lush greenery — it made the whole stay feel peaceful and special. Hosts Kate and Terry were incredibly welcoming and kind. Breakfast was a lovy selection of fresh fruit yoghurt and fruit juice follwed by a full cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients which was packed full of flavour and will set you up for the day ahead. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough and planning another stay in the future. Our stay was wonderful. The accommodation was beautiful. The Farm was stunning. Kate and her husband are absolutely lovely. Kate goes above and beyond for her guests. Nothing is too much trouble. We felt so welcome and looked after. It was such a pleasant experience we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in west Cornwall. The breakfast was all freshly cooked home food in a cosy dining room. We have never stayed anywhere with such genuinely amazing people. Kate clearly loves her b and b and her heart is in the soul of the farm. She interacts with her guests and is one of the loveliest people we have ever met. It was truly a pleasure to stay at her beautiful farm. Das Frühstück wird von Kate mit großer Liebe zubereitet und ist sehr schmackhaft. Die Kommunikation vor Anreise war ebenfalls sehr gut, ebenso die Beschreibung für die Anreise! Es gibt ein gutes italienisches Restaurant, das in 4 Minuten zu Fuß durch den Wald erreichbar ist. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist eng, jedoch für ein normales Auto ausreichend. The lady wasn’t expecting me because I had made a last-minute booking and was also told that they do not usually accept same-day bookings, so unfortunately the owner was caught somewhat unawares. Nevertheless, I was made to feel very welcome with a hot cup of coffee and delicious brownie as I made myself comfortable in the huge garden waiting for Sally to make up one of the rooms. The double room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. There is no TV in the bedrooms here, but you can make use of the comfy lounge, which I had entirely to myself during my stay. It was actually nice not to have a TV in the bedroom! There was also a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It felt like a “home from home” thanks to the hosts, and I had a very restful night’s sleep. There is also free onsite parking. I had a full English breakfast the following morning, along with cereal, fruit, juice and coffee, which was all delicious and cooked fresh. Thank you very much - if I am ever in the area again, I will be back for sure. The hosts we're great and the location was optimal! Lovely room with beautiful decorations and a very modern touch. The rooms we're really clean and cozy. The breakfast that is included was amazing which included fruits/cold options and hot options all freshly made/cooked. They also had a cat, chickens/ducks and goats which we're all easily accessible to pet and feed, which was an amazing highlight from our stay here! Our car had broken down, so on the day of check out, the hosts we're kind enough to let us stay on the property until we had someone come out and recover the vehicle after which they we're also kind enough to drive us into the nearest town so we could find transportation home.
