Beautiful hotel, fabulous bedroom, great shower and toiletries and amazing breakfast. Staff both on reception and breakfast room were so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an ideal spot, a short walk to the tram station, seafront and restaurants.

As a helicopter and airplane pilot, as well as the director and founder of my own company, I have high standards when it comes to accommodations for myself and my staff. My recent stay at the Okko Hotel exceeded all expectations. Over the course of more than a week, I experienced three different rooms to keep my stay interesting, and each one was spacious, impeccably clean, and wonderfully comfortable.

Fantastic experience staying at the Palais Saleya Apartment & Suite, with friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for 10 days, family of 3. Location is superb with access to many amenities - easy access to food, shopping and beach. Easy access from the airport either via public bus or via taxi. Have stayed in other hotels along the Nice Promenade and have thoroughly enjoyed a change to staying in a well equipped apartment instead. Highly recommended for the more adventurous !

We stayed here for 5 days and found it good value for a short break in Nice. It is close to a street of shops and restaurants that then leads on to the Old Town. The staff of this hotel are all helpful, friendly and they speak excellent English.
Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and an efficient shower. Breakfast is unusually generous for a French hotel with items like scrambled eggs, sausages and a cake of the day. We had free glass of wine with our booking and we enjoyed this in...

Fantastic stay. We were kindly upgraded by the staff to a more comfortable room as we were travelling with 2 babies. Very clean, fantastic location, breakfast was excellent. Staff were all extremely polite and friendly. Literally cannot fault the hotel, would absolutely stay here again

One of the best Hotels I have ever been in. Quiet, small family feel. Perfect to feel special and looked after for a couple of nights. Staff friendly and ever so helpful. I will come back

Room was bigger than we expected with a great bathroom. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. No air conditioning in the room but luckily it’s not too hot yet. The hotel is in a quiet area which feels safe but still near to the beach and easy walk to central and old Nice. Less than 5 minutes walk to a main metro stop. Staff were friendly and polite. Would recommend and would happily stay here again

I can't praise enough the staff, they were lovely, friendly and go beyond and above to make your stay memorable while maintaining the high level of professionalism. This includes all the staff from concierge, to reception, cleaning, room service, restaurant all of them. Special thanks to Paola who made us feel special and made it a trip to remember (thank you!). On other notes, the location of the hotel is great, 5 mins walk to the beach, very close to many restaurants, 15 mins walk to train...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Ibis. The breakfast is wonderful and the tea/coffee making facilities available free throughout the day in the main reception. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to a supermarket, the promenade and city centre. The buses are really cheap 1.50 euros to most cities including Cannes and Monaco. If you get the 52 bus just outside the airport that’s 1.50 euro also to the promenade where it’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I would definitely go...

Maison Durante is a quiet oasis in a area of Nice. We particularly liked the bright, sunny room overlooking the pretty courtyard garden and the freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return

Clean and good air conditioning. Great location. Quiet. Nice staff. Use of beach umbrellas and rented the beach towels. We enjoyed our stay. No fuss, all good. :)

Wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency. We were in town for the half marathon and this ended up being right near to the race start. We were also allowed a late check out, so we could shower and change after the race. The swimming pool was a real bonus.

Nice is lively and bursting with personality and this Hotel provides a great location for exploring it all. You are walking distance from the vibrant Promenade and Beach. (5 mins) Equally good for the station where we took a day trip to Monaco during our stay. The atmospheric Old Town is a little further but still only about a 10 minute walk away.
Fabulous restaurants all over the place.

The best area to stay in Pierrefeu is the village centre, particularly around the Place de la Mairie and the streets immediately surrounding it.
This area is the heart of Pierrefeu, offering a convenient and pleasant base for your stay. You'll find a selection of local shops, bakeries, and cafes, as well as the weekly market. The streets are narrow and winding, characteristic of a traditional Provençal village, and lead to the central square where village life unfolds.
For couples seeking an authentic and relaxed Provençal experience, staying in the village centre is ideal. You'll be within easy walking distance of local restaurants and can enjoy the quiet evenings, perhaps with a glass of local rosé on a terrace. It's also well-placed for leisurely strolls through the village and exploring the nearby vineyards.
Families will also find the village centre a good option due to the convenience of having amenities close by.
When is the best time to go to Pierrefeu?
The best time to go to Pierrefeu is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October).
These months offer pleasant weather, with warm days and comfortable evenings, great for exploring the Provençal countryside and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the vineyards lush in spring or bursting with harvest activity in autumn, and the crowds are generally thinner than in the peak summer months. It's also an excellent time to experience local markets and festivals without the intense heat of July and August.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the serene beauty of Pierrefeu during these times. The mild weather allows for leisurely strolls through olive groves, wine-tasting tours, and dining al fresco. The quieter atmosphere provides a more intimate experience.
For families, the shoulder seasons offer a relaxed pace and comfortable temperatures for children to enjoy outdoor adventures.
