"A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality. I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment. 5 stars all around!"

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
