Cosy hoteliers the middle of Chew Magna, nice full breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. Considered loop walk based in Litton, Somerset. Large car park at inn close to quaint village of Litton. Great welcome by Ben and George. Upgrade room and tour. Noticed thoughtful inclusion of easy access room and adjoining carer's room. Cosy inn outside and in. Chilled front patio and rear deck area by stream. Blankets supplied! Dinner and breakfast good. Ideal overnight stop fpr Bristol airport. really comfy bed. Great service. Even told about twilight bag drop at the airport to save hasstle in morning, which we had actually just done!

Great stay , we had a lovely meal in the railway carriage on the first night, and on the last night we had a great evening with all the staff and friends, plenty of parking, would definitely recommend

A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast. Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for. A perfect stop over in a peaceful location

Hotel room was stylish and clean and lovely shower. Pub is very close to the airport and is a perfect stay before or after a flight (about 10-15 mins drive to airport). The staff were very friendly and helpful and they prepared us a takeaway continental breakfast as we had an early flight.

Perfect weekend away, rooms and pub are lovely, really lovely touches in each room. Pub was nice and had live music on Friday evening which was a real plus. Was very clean and staff were friendly!

Staff very helpful and friendly, meals very good value, the only thing missing was a chiller in the room to keep water / drinks cool.

We had the cheader room very large and spacious. Staff were helpful especially Mitch went out of his way helping us with drinks up the stairs. Food was excelent in the evening also breakfast. We have stayed here a few times now.

We had driven past the George on our way to a further destination in October and decided to have Sunday lunch there on our way back as it looked rather stunning. We had a fantastic Sunday roast. We then decided a Xmas treat was due and we chose to stay the night on the 19th of December. Our expectations were met with overall high standards. Michelle is a great asset to the George Inn, She looked after us superbly on both occasions, she also gave us lots of interesting facts about the George...

Lovely stay at this hotel and in a great location for what we needed.

Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend. We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.
