Not couples in their 70s like me and my husband. For example there was a clothes rail but no coat hangers. And no hair dryer but plenty of USB points. The bed was large and very comfortable. The main plus of the Crafty Cow was the staff. They were all lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Especially the brilliant Graham who did source me a hairdryer. I’m a smoker so the large beer garden with a covered area was a big plus. The food was fabulous and on a Friday evening it was very busy. They don’t do breakfast but there are various choices about 15 minutes walk away. Also a shop 5 minutes away. We stayed there because it was near friends we were visiting and would definitely stay there again if in the area. Another plus is that residents get 10% off all food and drink purchased there. Really comfortable room, staff at the bar were lovely although we never needed any Healy and were quite self sufficient. Rooms were newly decorated and the beds were great! Couple of issues, the shower head in the Brunel room was leaky (not to the point of it being a major issue) and we think there could do with being a curtain in the small bathroom window for privacy and to help keep it dark. The cold tap in the Clifton room wasn’t working. Overall the stay was great though. One word of warning, the bar downstairs is noisy till about 11pm.
