The Royal Victoria Hotel

"Hotel was clean and excellently located for the trails up Yr Wddfa and the the mountain railway. We had a classic twin, not the largest room but it nice and clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of hot and cold items. Also had a meal in the Brasserie on our first night which was excellent."

"Room was clean but clearly the hotel allows dogs to stay which we always find disappointing. The breakfast was great. The evening food was very good. Staff were all friendly and polite. Enjoyed staying here with our kids and would stay again. Price was reasonable."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Lion hotel, in one of the studio apartments, And the the buffet breakfast was excellent. We found all the staff helpful and friendly. If we came to Criccieth again, we will definitely be staying here again."

"Very helpful staff for the august bank holiday . The window needs fixing but the fan was a great help in the room. After ten pm the pub noise is tolerable . The pub is right in the middle of town and convenient for the rugby , pizza, curry house . Free parking to the rear and your bike can go in the room . The rooms are big enough ."

"Older charming rooms.. Plumbing was very old and not up to standards.. The carpets were very dirty!!! The food was good . The staff were Amazing!!!!!"

"Nice staff, good sized room. The view of Bangor is spoilt by the piles of rubbish at the back of the hotel and I had an issue with the cold tap producing hot water which I didn't realise til I took a big sip :/"
