"Great Hotel, Great Staff..."

"This property was generally just ok. It has an old and minimally maintained feel with squeaky floors in the hallway and a toilet that was in poor working order in our room. The walls felt thin and our neighbors were noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pub was very busy, but the staff kept the beers flowing. The food, both dinner and breakfast were very good."

"Parking ok if but a little difficult to get to. The access is very narrow. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. Shops are near by and a really good Indian restaurant is across the road."

"In high st location, easy town centre location if you want other dining options, I dine in good menu choice, was clean & tidy etc rooms are fresh, hotel is over 3 floors, so if your not particularly mobile you may struggle"

"Rooms were pretty spacious and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. Customers come first to the staff and they drop everything to make sure each individual is seen to promptly and with courtesy. Breakfast is lovely and dinner was good albeit, if you are a plain eater there isn’t a lot to choose from in terms of British dishes. It’s mixed cuisine with an orientlal / Asian bias. The only aspect of my stay that I found annoying was that even as a hotel guest, one had to pay for parking at the hotel which I didn’t agree with. The hotel is already quite expensive without having to pay for parking on top of it. Nice hotel but overall, found it expensive and perhaps a little overpriced. "
