lots of potential - needs to try harder
this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel

My opinion about this hotel
It will mean to people who would like to stay one night, who are on their way from one place to another. I rarely give comments, but this time I have to let others not to have experience like me. I was driving from Barcelona to Porto, and I wanted to rest after 700 km somewhere and swim in the thermal waters because it looked nice on the picture. First, the hotel is not easy to find. The hotel is more reminiscent of a sanatorium than a hotel, although the staff was very friendly. In the end, I didn't even go to the pool. All in all, it's my personal experience, if it meant something to someone, I'm glad.

Quiet Golf Hotel
Nice & quiet resort. But it misses atmosphere. The room is big, but the windows are small and there is no balcony. No decoration on the walls and the lobbies, no sunshades by the pool. The restaurant looks like a cheap cafeteria with white light, no separations, no intimacy. Good food and good breakfast though.

I made a reservation minutes before boarding my flight, when we arrived I was instantly harassed by the front desk about having to pay for my girlfriends stay in the room since the reservation was for 1 person. After some back and forth we complied with additional fees. Then I inquired about using the luxurious pool that’s the cover photo of the hotel on Expedia.. come to find out it’s a 15Euro x 2 Hour fee per person to use the pool as a hotel guest.. talk about false advertisement! Then the room, two stiff twin beds put side by side, no shampoo, conditioner or lotion just some unlabeled mystery gel that looked more appropriate next to a sink. Then the shower.. I wish I was making this up, but for the first day we had brown water coming out of the shower (I have photos). Let me remind you this is an aquatic spa.. I did encounter several employees at the bar that were extremely polite so I do not want this review to reflect on they’re performance, they were fantastic! As someone who was been to this spa several times including when it first opened I can honestly say the experience here was disappointing and unsatisfactory for a 4 star hotel.. the standards are not what they were or should be. I hope this review is constructive towards renewing the quality of such an important hotel to the region.

Buenas tardes Le pedimos disculpas si le pareció que la atención no fue la correcta, no era nuestra intención; la reserva estaba realizada para una habitación y una persona y se alojaban dos, de ahí el suplemento comentado por ello En cuanto al color del agua es debido a las tormentas que se registraron lo que pudo provocar algún problema en el hotel puntual de minutos Reciba un cordial saludo

Relax at Oca Golf Santa Augas Hotel
Very nice stay at this excellent hotel which has large rooms with good views,, smallish swimming pool outside and free parking. Staff very nice. SPA available. Free refreshing drinks.

Very far from our route, in the middle of no where
We wanted to stay closed to Lugo , and the Internet said this place was very close and it was 45 min from Lugo in the middle of nowhere. The shower will turn all of a sudden very hot and very cold and it was hard to take a shower,the water from the faucets came out a salmon color, looks dirty, also the toilet never flush, the place was clean, and we enjoy the pools. It was an experience.

Golf hotel and spa.
the hotel staff were very welcoming, they spoke a little English but it helps if you speak Spanish. The hotel is very clean and lacked nothing. The outstanding feature is the spa. You are supplied with a pass to use the spa facilities and you can remain in there for as long as you like. The spa steam room and saunas are well maintained and the staff are extremely helpful. I particularly enjoy the relaxation room after the spa, it has comfortable seating beds and chairs, gentle music and candles if required. I beautiful end to an exhilarating experience.

La experiencia ha sido buena. A mejorar: El restaurante a la carta: ofertan solomillo y No Es solomillo. Fue indicado por los clientes y la respuesta una justificación que no se correspondía a lo ofertado en la carta. No hay buena relacion calidad/ precio.

Ruido. Difícil descanso
Mala insonorización habitación. Se oyen las habitaciones contiguas...y el caso de las cisternas...pues bueno. Ruido de maquinaria varia toda la noche, por momentos realmente molesto..tb ruidos de arrastrar mobiliario hasta las 12 y media de la noche.. que parecían provenir de alguna instalacion del hotel. No entiendo en un hotel de 4 estrellas estás cosas, y menos si cabe en un balneario .Personal amable, buen desayuno. Bien spa..

El hotel no tiene categoría de 4 estrellas. Esta destartalado, anticuado. La primera habitación abuhardillada, con un ruido de máquina de aire tremendo. Nos cambiaron sin problemas a otra de la 1 planta. También se oia ruido, pues teniamos al lado el ascensor de servicio, pero menos que en la abuhardillada. La limpieza deja mucho que desear. La ducha no tiene presión. El personal, amable. La Srta de cafetería un desastre. Las habitaciones no tienen amenities... ni una simple botella de agua . Teniendo en cuenta cómo estan las carreteras del entorno, sin señalizar, la verdad es que no lo veo.un sitio recomendable. Una pena
