Very comfortable. Mariella and Marianna were so kind and accommodating to let me check in early. This is at a great location, steps away from the Ballarò Markets but not noisy, still tucked in its own quiet space. Central enough that you can come back and rest and cool down in between doing your sightseeing around Palermo. Breakfast was good (it was at a different location but not a bother), room was very comfortable, great amenities/toiletries as well. Even had a sewing kit which i found quite helpful.

Mariella and her team were absolutely lovely! I could tell she works really really hard to do her best to cater to everyone’s wishes. She made a conscious effort to accommodate my allergy at breakfast, and I’m super thankful for that. We stayed in the wine-room, which even had a jacuzzi! The room was clean and the beds were made every day. The towels were changed after 2 nights, and the tea and coffee station in the room was refreshed every day. There were two small problems with the mini-fridge and the wall beneath the AC, but honestly, we found a solution and it wasn’t a bother. I really enjoyed our stay here!

We used Ballarooms twice : at the beginning of our trip for a few nights and at the end of our trip, before catching our flight. Both stays were absolutely outstanding. Mariella is a wonderful host, very caring and very attentive to her guests. And her breakfasts are exceptional !

Newly renovated rooms. Our hostess Marinella was very helpful. Breakfast was in her other location and was easy to find. Everything was clean and new. Central location. A short distance from the train station.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Olive Room. All was great and perfect. Room and bathroom were spotless and pleasant, newly and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Mariella is a wonderful and generous host and her breakfasts were as great as she is. Can’t recommend enough her B&B.

I did not have time for breakfast. Mariella was a great host: receptionist was very welcoming. I enjoyed the quiet time before my flight. I did lose a boots I might contact Mariella to send money to send me the boat I lost if she has it: but great stay and location in Palermo

I want to start by saying that the hosts are absolutely some of the kindest people I have met in Palermo. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. It may have been my own oversight for not paying closer attention to the lack of an elevator and the type of accommodation this is. The rooms themselves were very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered excellent value for the price. However, our room was one of only a handful located within an older building that appeared to be a converted apartment rather than a traditional hotel. The location was convenient for exploring Palermo, but as a woman travelling with a young boy, I sometimes felt a little uncomfortable returning late at night due to the dark, narrow side streets in the immediate area. That said, this may simply have been because we were unfamiliar with the neighbourhood. Overall, if you are younger, travelling on a budget, and looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, I would definitely recommend it. The rooms are well maintained, the value is excellent, and the hosts are truly exceptional.

My husband and I had a great experience at this rental. It’s more like a B&B with a host. Our hostess was very communicative and helpful and prepared an amazing breakfast at the other Ballarooms property (less than 5 minutes away). It was great having A/C to combat the heat. Our room was spacious, with lots of room to spread out, and the bathroom was clean and functional.

The inside of the property is everything you see, very updated. How're it is in a run down part of town which leaves a bad feeling in the beginning but when you're on the very updated, clean comfortable room you'll soon forget the outside.

Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Chambre moderne avec tout le confort et très propre à proximité du centre historique. Hôtesse très serviable toujours aux petits soins avec ses invités. Struttura perfetta in centro città e si trova facilmente con il navigatore il primo impatto sembra una struttura non ristrutturata però quando si entra è bella come si vede nelle foto, la signora Marinella è super disponibile e gentile con i clienti e fa anche delle ottime collezione con torte e altro, noi ( io e la mia compagna) siamo molto contenti dei 3 giorni trascorsi qui, la struttura non ha dei posteggi però io l’auto lasciavo sul bordo strada insieme a altre auto.

The property was ideally located, both within walking distance from the train station and old town. The bedroom and other amenities were excellent and the host, Mariella, was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always available for any questions .
