Mariella places extreme pride in her properties. She delights in ensuring her customers are contented and able to truly enjoy time both in her apartments and Palermo. She made us feel at home.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, within walking distance of a main area and port. The exterior and entrance did not prepare for the attention to detail found in the B and B. The building is old and the owner has tried to restore some of the original brick work and ceiling beams, creating a unique space. It is clean and modern and I would stay again without hesitation. Owner is friendly and could not do enough to make us welcome. The breakfast was in another B and B of hers close by and was delicious .. all freshly prepared and regional. As we were leaving early the last day she left a wrapped package, with a ribbon, on our door so we could take breakfast with us. She was very helpful, responsive and kind.

Loved our stay at Ballarooms Experience. The B&B was in a very central position close to Ballaro market and was very comfortable- we even had a sauna in our room! Mariella served a lovely breakfast in her other B&B 5 minutes walk from where we were staying.

The host was great in sending me check-in instructions (including videos!) when my flight was delayed. This made it easier to find the apt even through it was getting dark. Ballarooms Experience is 4 separate ensuite rooms that share a kitchen/dining room. Ballarooms B&B is a couple of blocks away (<4 min walk) and where you have breakfast. This could be better explained during the booking process and is really the ONLY reason I did not give it an "excellent" rating. Breakfast was generous and varied and the location of both Experience and B&B couldn't have been more convenient to sights and transportation.

Based on reviews I canceled my hotel and booked this B&B and boy am I glad! It was even better than expected. Easy check in instructions, central location, super clean, and great breakfast. The host helped me figure out transport to Catania and gave excellent dinner recommendations. Highly recommend!

La bonne communication avec Mariella ( Proprio)par WhatsApp afin de savoir comment se render à lhebergement à partir de l’aéroport. Mariella est très gentille. La chambre est nettoyée chaque jour. L’immeuble et la rue ds le Ballaro n’est pas accueillant. Très vieux et sale. Les chambres sont renovées heureusement. Le déjeuner a été servi ds une autre location pas loin. C’était très bon. Très bon accueil. Je n’ai pas aimé le quartier mais tout pres de la station de train.

Great B and B right in the midst of the historic district. Short walk to restaurants, bars, shops, monuments etc. The hostess was wonderful and welcoming. Room was stunning, clean and provided a kettle and coffee machine. Fridge had water for the guests as well. Good air conditioning and quite quiet at night. Reasonable cost for a good place in the city.

Mariella was excellent helping us access the room and answering our questions. Room is beautiful and well laid out with plenty of space and even a sauna for your private use! Breakfast is in a different location but only 2 mins walk and was good quality, as was the coffee. We were able to leave our bags while enjoyed the city until we left in the evening. All in all a great value option in central Palermo, off one of the main streets (Via Maqueda) and 5 mins from the Fontana Pretoria and piazza Cuarto Canti.

Mariella war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, sie hat uns mit selbst gemachtem Essen zum Frühstück verwöhnt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig aber leider im zweiten Hotel. Dies kann man gut zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt und entsprechen der Beschreibung. Einziges Manko war die Duschbrause die ziemlich verkalkt war. Die Lage ist wirklich mittendrin im geschehen aber dennoch abseits vom Lärm. Leider ist es für Taxis nicht immer möglich bis vor das Hotel zu fahren. Somit mussten wir zum nahegelegenen Lidl laufen um abgeholt zu werden. Der unebene Boden in der Straße macht es zu einer schweisstreibenden Angelegenheit. Es gibt auch keinen Lift, die Koffer müssen alle in das OG gebracht werden. Es wäre gut wenn wir die Codes für den Zugang einfach per Expedia zugeschickt bekommen hätten, dann wären wir nicht vor verschlossener Türe gestanden. Alles in allem sind die negativen Dinge Kleinigkeiten die nicht so schlimm waren wie sie sich anhören. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen.

Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Chambre moderne avec tout le confort et très propre à proximité du centre historique. Hôtesse très serviable toujours aux petits soins avec ses invités. Very comfortable. Mariella and Marianna were so kind and accommodating to let me check in early. This is at a great location, steps away from the Ballarò Markets but not noisy, still tucked in its own quiet space. Central enough that you can come back and rest and cool down in between doing your sightseeing around Palermo. Breakfast was good (it was at a different location but not a bother), room was very comfortable, great amenities/toiletries as well. Even had a sewing kit which i found quite helpful.

Mariella and her team were absolutely lovely! I could tell she works really really hard to do her best to cater to everyone’s wishes. She made a conscious effort to accommodate my allergy at breakfast, and I’m super thankful for that. We stayed in the wine-room, which even had a jacuzzi! The room was clean and the beds were made every day. The towels were changed after 2 nights, and the tea and coffee station in the room was refreshed every day. There were two small problems with the mini-fridge and the wall beneath the AC, but honestly, we found a solution and it wasn’t a bother. I really enjoyed our stay here!

Struttura perfetta in centro città e si trova facilmente con il navigatore il primo impatto sembra una struttura non ristrutturata però quando si entra è bella come si vede nelle foto, la signora Marinella è super disponibile e gentile con i clienti e fa anche delle ottime collezione con torte e altro, noi ( io e la mia compagna) siamo molto contenti dei 3 giorni trascorsi qui, la struttura non ha dei posteggi però io l’auto lasciavo sul bordo strada insieme a altre auto.

Everything was fantastic! From the room to the breakfast and location. Mariella was extremely helpful, very detailed with the information on how to arrive because we were arriving late past check in hours. Her homemade breakfast was simply amazing. The location it’s great, it’s central, 10 minutes walk from train station and yet a little before the crowded streets!!

The property was ideally located, both within walking distance from the train station and old town. The bedroom and other amenities were excellent and the host, Mariella, was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always available for any questions .

This B&B has been the best in our 2 week travels! Marielle is super friendly, helpful and one of the happiest persons we’ve met in Sicily. She provided a delicious and homemade variety of Italian delicacies. The room was newly renovated with an efficient A/C system. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

I want to start by saying that the hosts are absolutely some of the kindest people I have met in Palermo. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. It may have been my own oversight for not paying closer attention to the lack of an elevator and the type of accommodation this is. The rooms themselves were very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered excellent value for the price. However, our room was one of only a handful located within an older building that appeared to be a converted apartment rather than a traditional hotel. The location was convenient for exploring Palermo, but as a woman travelling with a young boy, I sometimes felt a little uncomfortable returning late at night due to the dark, narrow side streets in the immediate area. That said, this may simply have been because we were unfamiliar with the neighbourhood. Overall, if you are younger, travelling on a budget, and looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, I would definitely recommend it. The rooms are well maintained, the value is excellent, and the hosts are truly exceptional.
