Food and drink was reasonably priced & delicious! We traveled by train to Monreale, the cathedral is a must see. Cefalu is easy to reach by train from Palermo & is very picturesque, well worth visiting. ### 5/5 - Excellent Verified traveller Interesting city with plenty of authentic local culture. People were mostly friendly. ### 3/5 - Okay Verified traveller Palermo is a bit tired and run down. Poverty is evident in beggars and empty buildings. Food is plentiful and comparatively cheap compared to Europe. I wouldnt necessarily visit Palermo again but the landscape outside the city is lovely. ### 5/5 - Excellent Verified traveller Great city. So much to do and see. Great vibe and hospitality.
