"The hotel has beautiful interiors and fabulous views. We had a room with a balcony and seaview which was large and comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was very good with excellent variety and the best vegetarian selection I've come across. Served in a restaurant overlooking the sea, we felt like we were on a cruise ship. Sadly the afternoon evening service in the bar area was very poor; we waited over an hour for food. The outdoor pool is no longer used so needs to be replaced or removed. Once beautiful gardens need bringing back to life. The indoor pool and spa also need refreshing. This beautiful hotel could be so much better if more was made of the restaurant and bar, bringing in more income for renovations."

"A great experience, lovely helpful staff, lots of activities and amenities with a short walk to the front. Sadly, too short on avaliable lifts considering the hotel size and horrible sticky tables in the restaurant."

"The room/hotel is so close to the sea you can see it, however bay view if you get up and look to the left... Friendly cleaning staff, however dust and cobwebs found in the bathroom isnt great. Very comfy bed, packed of anything on tv if it was a long stay in the rain, if the cleaning was up to scratch id come back again."

"Such a comfortable and friendly hotel with excellent service from the proprietors. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order in a well laid out dining room. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean with tv and tea & coffee facilities, The en-suite shower room was clean with all facilities required including complimentary shampoos, soaps and shower gels and the shower was a pleasure to use, one of the best showers we have experienced in hotels. The hotels wifi was very good with a strong signal. I particularly liked the nice touch of an honesty shop in the dining room/small shop and the supply of free books to read and children's beach toys. We were made to feel very welcome and will happily recommend this hotel to friends and family. This hotel is ideally situated being close to the beach with a very good selection and variety of restaurants within walking distance. The pier is free with the usual stalls and amusements plus a dinosaur crazy golf at the end. The beach is long and sandy. There is a trackless train that runs along the coast, a fair, a children's park and other family facilities. The only downside is parking near the hotel. We went out of season but still had to park two roads away on one occasion so it could be a problem during high season."
