"Just very good staff , although the dear lady in the restaurant 0730 to 0800 was doing it all herself . One extra person would have been great ."

"Despite the filming of a Bollywood Movie which impacted our arrival our stay was most enjoyable. Our room excellent spacious and well equipped with a balcony for super views accross the bay. Public rooms comfortably furnished and menu varied meals very tasty and well presented. A most enjoyable stay."

"The hotel is perfectly situated to nearby Exeter Airport, which was the purpose of booking it. It was gone midnight when we checked in. The members of staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly which made everything so much easier. Really comfortable bed, so a good nights sleep. Breakfast was great. A lovely selection of foods on offer, with again, friendly helpful staff. We will definately use again when flying from Exeter."

"The room was a good size, with everything you need. It was a bit tired with the carpet threadbare in places and the bathroom needing a deep clean, paint and fresh mastic. The food in the restaurant was reasonable, but the service was slow and it was clear they were understaffed and getting things wrong."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it."

"Clean and tidy room. Bed comfortable. Price was very good. What I would say is that it says dog friendly but should be dogs tolerated as no dogs in breakfast room or to be left alone in your room so where do you go to eat? No bowls provided."
