"We arrived a bit late but the chap who checked us in was lovely. He greeted our dog before us, which I think is a good sign. Very friendly with good humour. Room was massive. The double bed was huge!!!!. Slept like a baby. I will stay here again. "

"The hotel is well located in a busy modern designer precinct and close by to the Old Historic Port of Portsmouth.
The room was more than adequate for our needs with one exception. The room was a double for two people occupancy, but only one chair provided. However, no different to other hotels we have stayed in. Maybe one day the hotels will realise that both occupants require to sit down.
The staff were excellent, very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Even pointed out which restaurants, in the area offered discount to guests of the hotel.
The breakfast, which was included in the price of the room was excellent. Although a buffet, it had a very varied range to suit most diners and appetites "

"Our 4th visit to Chichester, a town we love. The Harbour Hotel is newly decorated and truly lovely. Positives: fridge with water replaced daily, electric kettle, excellent bed with USB chargers at nightstands, towel heater in bath actually worked and there was always plenty of hot water in the walk-in shower. The hotel was very quiet and we loved the views of chimneys and park. The Ship restaurant and bar in the hotel serves fine meals in an elegant setting. Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery, Cathedral, Novium Museum all easy walks, as are restaurants, pubs, Boots, M&S food court and lots of shopping opportunities. Staff are welcoming and kind. Special kudos to Tanni, who was especially helpful to us.
We don’t expect hotel rooms or closet space in the UK to be ample as in US, so that’s never a surprise. Only negative: safes in hotel not operational and lift is tiny and lurches, but we felt lucky to have one at all!
We absolutely intend to return to the Harbour Hotel and recommend it highly."
