"Really lovely hotel, bang in the middle of Oxford. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and interesting building. It is an old prison so the layout can be unusual but it's a very interesting building. Our room had (very good) air conditioning which was handy, I don't think every room has it. "

"A bit of a walk from city centre. The size of the room is decent and very clean. However, there is smell coming from the bathroom when coming in. It was very clean though. Luckily we can open the windows, doesn’t feel claustrophobic. A bit of a noise from the road and buses, but it was nice looking outside rather than having a window looking at a wall of the next building. I had a good sleep. A big tv and a portable fan/heater provided. "

"A great hotel in Oxford. Perfect location, with easy walking distance to all the key sites in Oxford. The rooms were really comfortable and updated. The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations, and they had a reserved parking spot behind the hotel, which made it extremely convenient. Plus the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Highly recommended."
