The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. "At the arrival there was a condom wrapper on the steps. We opened the front door and the smell hit us. Flat looked uncleaned; bathroom had stains on the floor and walls. Cobwebs in every room, stains on the walls. Problem with drain in the shower and the smell was terrible. Sofa needs adjusting as the arm rest loose. Carpet dirty, fan in the bedroom didn’t work. Fridge smelt and had brown stains on the glass shelves. Not what I expected nor paid for."

"A neat, well-kept and complete apartment, very close (10 min walk) to the historic city center, with its own, private parking (for small/medium cars only). The owner was very responsive and check-in/out went very smoothly. The apartment is somewhat noisy (neighbours, adjacent road, bathroom ventilation) but overall a great spot for visiting Canterbury."
