"A nice, clean, simple hotel with a fabulous staff! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, they made you feel at home. The breakfast and dinner were also lovely. A perfect stop before a cruise. "

"The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers."

"Property host never provided any check in instructions nor replied to calls, text or email. Management company tried to help but refused to cancel the reservation until check in time. Which meant we had to try to go to the property and see if we could find someone. We never found anyone and as far as we know check in may have been via lock box. We spend several hours on the phone with VRBO and the management company to try to get this information. Ended up having to book a hotel at the last...
