The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room, with a balcony, had a wonderful view of the Albert 1er jardin. The bathroom was spotless and had a fabulous and powerful shower!
Although there was some noise, at the weekend, from the pub downstairs, it didn't go on too late and certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend this hotel with it's excellent location.
We stayed for 4 days, but they didn't fix the wi-fi problem. We had the feeling that they had no intention to fix, or even they are not willing to provide wi-fi (even if free wi-fi was promised during booking).
The location is perfect.
The rooms are too small, but very handy and clean.
"A very clean hotel In a cool part of old town Nice"
Hotel Rossetti is a very clean and cool hotel in old part of Nice. The minimalist rooms are well done.
However, the noises from the street late at night can be quite irritating; especially on weekends. The yelling and screaming of people partying outside is incessant until 4 to 5 in the morning. Then the noise from the garbage crew starts. If you like/need peace and quiet at night, you should consider other hotels away from the old part of Nice.
On the flip side, if you are into partying until wee hours in the morning and sleeping during the day, this hotel should suit you just fine!
One draw back was when we arrived were supposed to contact a number and when I did this the person spoke in French which I could not understand. Found a gentleman who lived in the building and he told us we had to contact the hotel on 1st floor. This was not made at all clear needs rectifying. Another point to note is that these units are located on the second floor and there is no lift although the lady was very obliging in carrying my case downstairs. Very nicely decorated and modern. Would recommend.
One of the most charming parts of the city, the Vieux Nice, or Old Nice, is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets dotted with lovely cafés, restaurants, and small shops. The Cours Saleya flower market is an explosion of colors and little treasures, and gems like the baroque Palais Lascaris and the Place Rossetti square with its majestic Cathedrale de Sainte Reparate are not to be missed.
