"Very good location to airport but the hotel is tired and run down"

"Simple, modern and comfortable room. Loved the flexibility of the large reception/bar areas that catered for 24 hours. So many hotel bars close by 11.00 so this was great to provide additional capacity. Breakfast was much better than I expected too. Free breakfasts, great value"

"I’ve stayed here before and it was fine, so maybe I was unlucky with the assigned room but it was incredibly difficult to sleep. The room backed on to the train line, there was a loud external to the room fan that could not be switched off, the bed was very uncomfortable and pillows very old and dirty, albeit the bedding was clean."

"Clean room with all amenities working. Friendly check in staff. Breakfast was included and ticked all the boxes, it even had a nice touch of offering a hurry bag for your pastries. The down side was the £4 shuttle charge each way. I would have been nice to know this before booking. "

"Mixed feelings. The room itself was fine, the experience not so great. I had chosen this hotel in part because it was a good location and had an EV charger. The EV charger was not working and the experience in reporting and trying to get resolved was infuriating. I had to go elsewhere and charge. The EV alone I probably would have overlooked, particularly as it involved a third party. However, upon check out the hotel attempted to charge me for a dinner that I hadn’t ordered or had! Ironically I had eaten elsewhere whilst waiting for my car to charge. Again, mistakes can happen, but the receptionist was at first insistent that as that’s what her computer said, I had to pay it! Eventually sorted, but took way too long, making me late for an meeting, and did not appreciate the accusatory manner. So an okay stay bookended by two poor and frustrating experiences."
