"We stayed with my parents and kids over the Easter long weekend. The view from the house is incredible and is beautiful to look out on. The house itself is comfortable and had plenty of room for the six of us. The main thing to keep in mind with a group of that size is that there is one bathroom, but that’s fine as long as you coordinate :-). The kitchen was well-equipped and had plenty of basic supplies, as well as some extra things that were handy such as a coffee machine and toastie maker....

"Waringa Downs was a gloriously generous home amongst the rolling hills with the most spectacular sunsets. We spotted roos and possums at night on the property and enjoyed the fresh country air. Perfectly positioned to enjoy Mayfield Gardens, fossicking in Oberon and walks through the State Forests. The kids loved the maze at Mayfield Gardens and we all thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home as our base. We will be back if we get around to another country break!"

"This property was overall amazing! I shared the experience with 4 kids and my daughter and her husband. They all loved it so much with good access to bedrooms and the bathrooms. "Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. "Host did not greet us or leave milk for tea & coffee. Host 2 dogs were the only friendly ones at the property although first night they barked all night and one was very thin and was looking for food. No firepit, which we were looking forward to at night. Outlook was disappointing as main view was looking at old shed and old machinery and timber lying around. No WiFi and poor TV reception. We would not return 😒"

It would have been better if the second television in the pool room was working so the children could have watched a movie at night I understand that water is a problem but the outside around the table and pool is very dirty. Also the broken step caused my elderly partner to fall on the hard surface. Could have been worse but I feel it should be fixed. Overall we had a lovely family get together."
