"There were lots of positives. Staff great and the room was big. However, I got bed bug bites which was disappointing and I didn’t get a response from the hotel when I raised it"

"Excellent location for use at the BP Pulse, walking distance from Birmingham International train station and BP Pulse venue. Hotel was clean and what we needed for our night. We had breakfast which was a choice off full english or continental, good choice of breakfast. Overall, i would definitely return to this hotel if I am to visit the BP Pulse in the future. Excellent location."

"Great value for money! Very clean. It can be easy to miss all the amenities upstairs, such as common kitchen, living room with balcony view and games/books for guest use. Overall, very very nice facilities. Staff are kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for a budget-stay! Very, very good."

"Hotels.com offered an upgrade to a suite which I accepted and was confirmed in writing. Upon check-in was told that Hotels.com frequently do this even if the property is fully booked. Very disappointing. Room was ok. Quiet. Awful smell emanating from the toilet though."

"Really lovely little gem in the centre of Leicester. It was giving boutique hotel vibes and despite us only being in the room for a short period, it was lovely and reasonably priced. We didn’t realise we had to book a parking space though and ended up parking opposite in the hospital multi storey. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and we had a snug smaller sized room but would visit again for sure! They could have done with another staff members on the desks on the Sunday morning as the check out queue was really long. "
