"This hotel is amazing! Beautifully setup inside and takes you back in time a little. Rooms are well kept and updated. Everything is clean and (this sounds so strange) it smells wonderful. They really take care of their spaces so well. The location is perfect. Right next to Salem Commons and across the street from all of the quirky shopping spaces. I had the best time running out at night and just walking around in circles. For anyone who is interested in the Hocus Pocus locations, the hotel is next to 2 of them! The others are so nearby and easily located! If you’re on the fence, let this be your reason to choose Hawthorne! Best hotel I’ve been to in a long time! "

"Staff was wonderful. We needed a rollaway, no problem. Help with directions, they got you. Want suggestions, yup helped there too. Breakfast was wonderful and we got lucky with parking. They have it available at a lot down the street, but I got a spot right out front. Wonderful stay. "

"We stayed 1 night before an early morning flight. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We had a great room with nice furnishings. It happened to be the 4th of July and we saw so many fireworks shows from our window. All up and down the beach. "
