Lighthouse Point on beach dunes, Race Point Light Lighthouse in Cape Code, New England, Massachusetts, USA.
Aerial North Shore Long Island
Plum Island Lighthouse protects the delta of the Merrimack River, and was commissioned for the first time in 1788 with a lantern that burned whale oil. Its current form dates from the year 1898. In 1927 it began to work with electricity and was automated in 1952. As you can see the light it emits is green.
The lighthouse's surroundings are always accessible and the structure itself is open some days a year. There is a big public parking lot just crossing the street from the lighthouse.

Beautiful spot with lots of compositional possibilities.
Witch Trials Cemetery. I'm not fond of cemeteries (walking over dead bodies creeps me out) but this one was especially haunting. All these people were violently executed for something ridiculous.
