"Very nice place. Not as close to shopping in Rockport as I was envisioning so I drove. Still not that far away. Breakfast was fairly bare bones and could have been better maintained. Most places provide a better breakfast. I would stay there again."

"Whispering Pines was perfect for our extended Family of (8). Grandparents to Grandchildren, we would stay again in a heartbeat. This quintessential "Summer Cottage" is sooo peaceful & picturesque. The house layout provides wonderful conditions for gathering or privacy. Loved the pantry area! Caught some crabs off the Pier with the Grandkids & the water access was easy way to cool off during the hot summer days. We will def bring paddle boards or kayaks next time.Highly recommend & wish we could have stayed longer! The Sonder Family"

"This property is as discribed, clean, nice view. One issue was trash didn’t get picked up on scheduled day and when I called the office they said it would be picked up the next morning but no one ever came. I do feel it was overpriced as we have rented in Gloucester for the past 6 years in 5 different homes. We only rented for 10 days this time instead of 2 weeks because of the price."

"This is a nice property in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of room. We traveled with 11 people and never felt crowded. Property is on top of a hill so you’ll get some exercise coming and going, but the views alone are worth the effort. Every sunset was an event!The nearby sandy beach is worth the 10 minute walk. The rocky beach which is very close by was not so useful to us but the park bench above it was a nice place to sit and enjoy the views while walking the dogs. Pet friendly. House was clean, beds comfortable, 2 bathrooms one with a shower, one with a hot tub/shower. Kitchen is well stocked with pots pans utensils etc. tv on first and second floor. WiFi access. Large gas grill on porch as well as lots of porch furniture and a hammock. Air conditioning kept the place comfortable. There is a gas fireplace which we did not use but would be nice for a fall visit. Laundry facilities on the second floor. 10-15 min drive to stores, Good Harbor, Long Beach Gloucester. Communication with host was excellent. Would recommend this property."

"We truly enjoyed our time at this property! The proximity to the beach was phenomenal. The huge driveway with a garage, three bathrooms, and the lovely deck made the experience easy and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials to prepare dinner for a crowd. The view from the deck was very peaceful, all you can see is treetops. The only thing that I could think of that needed a little bit of improvement was the twin bed mattress seemed kind of ancient, and all of the pillows could’ve used some fluffing prior to our arrival. Other than that, the expectations were clear and reasonable, the home felt relaxing and was incredibly clean. It was wonderful to have the use of laundry with all of the beach days! I really hope that I get to rent this place again next year!"
