Stayed one night at the hotel before hosting a bridal shower in the Bramble House the next day. The staff were incredible and helpful through out our stay and event! The food was good and service was top notch! I truly had a great experience.

We had a great, impromptu weeknight stay. The pool was wonderful for a quick dip, and the restaurant on site was delicious. Also appreciated the free breakfast spread in the morning! We will be back.

Staff provided outstanding customer service; friendly,professional,caring,and accommodating. Very clean rooms with extremely comfortable beds. From the moment you enter the front door of the Inn, you see its charm and feel its warmth and welcome. From the spa, to the outdoor pool, to the 5 star restaurant and the delicious continental breakfast in the morning, it is truly a gem that we visited for the first time, but it won’t be the last. We are already considering our next visit, possibly in the fall when we can benefit from the cozy fireplace in the room, or relax and sit around the outdoor fire pit. You can sit on a swing on the porch while admiring the impeccably manicured grounds, or play a game in the courtyard. The Briar Barn Inn is a beautiful, charming destination!

Everything here is maintained to a high standard. The grounds are immaculate, our room was large and spotless. Our only interaction was with the desk clerk. She was delightful. We only stayed for one night, and since there was a wedding reception going on in the restaurant we didn’t dine there. We did enjoy an evening nightcap on the porch rocking chairs. Breakfast the next morning had only a few selections, but my muffin was delicious, as was the coffee I selected from the lobby machine. We consumed our pastries on the same porch rocking chairs. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. We would certainly return if we are looking for lodging in the area again.

A quick mini getaway to this lovely charming Inn. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed. Loved the creative and welcoming potted displays of arched birch branches, pussywillow vines nestled with colorful spring flowers. A definite return for us.

Beautiful inn right in between Newburyport and Ipswich, great location. Staff was very helpful, spa was relaxing, grounds lovely and room clean and very spacious. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat at the restaurant because there was a function.
