"We loved our time at Ford Hill Cottage. One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at, Janet was lovely and very helpful, and the cottage had everything you could possibly need. I honestly have nothing negative to say about our experience, if we’re in the area we’ll definitely book again. "Nice little house in a peaceful village perfectly positioned for Ilfracombe & Woolacombe. The pictures for this property make the house look much bigger than it is. We struggleed with 4 adults and a 15 year old as one of us was sitting at the table at all times as not enough couch space. The upstairs of the property is amazing and well thought out. Downstairs needed a good clean! Dust everywhere broken blinds and we all had either dirty feet or socks off the floor after a couple of hours. Owner...

"Lovely cottage set away from the main road so it’s incredibly peaceful and beautiful views over the hills when sitting outside. Everything you need is catered for including a good selection of dvd’s and books both for kids and adults for quiet evenings in. Short walk to a local shop and a bar/restaurant but worth noting the cottage is up a steep-ish hill. Great location short drive to a couple of beaches and the hosts were very quick to respond. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"My wife and I are active octogenarians.This is an excellent hotel for us, for a short break. The staff are genuinely friendly and the decor comfortably slightly old fashioned or traditional. Family group of hotels, well run. Parking adequate but note to reserve if you have blue badge. Food is excellent and breakfasts are brilliant, the menu extensive. This nice hotel is a favourite with us more mature Devonians. Enjoy! Ps. Very clean and ensuite bathroom very good."
