"Have known this hotel for a number of years and it was one of the best in the area but now needing a facelift without spoiling its design. Lift inside needs upgrading, fixtures and fittings need upgrading. STAFF were lovely especially Carol in the lounge area, very kind and helpful. Pool and garden area lovely. "Check in was easy, friendly staff, room decor was lovely, clean bedding. Parking was perfect and surroundings are beautiful. Had a beautiful breakfast too. Only negative was quite a few wood louse running round the bathroom, kept slippers on but may put you off if squeamish."
