"Perfect crash pad for a weekend away in Devon The night porter is super helpful & welcoming when arriving late at night & takes care to ensure you have everything required for a comfortable stay."

"Beautiful hotel and excellent location. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite. We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel"

"Clean room nice comfortable beds - convenient parking and Hotel is well placed for town centre"

"Perfect place for rest"

"The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The bed I was lumpy and uncomfortable which for the price of the room I found very disappointing. The staff were gracious and helpful."

"Very nice hotel staff was lovely very polite"

"Lovely hotel, with great staff, good location"

"Check in was easy, friendly staff, room decor was lovely, clean bedding. Parking was perfect and surroundings are beautiful. Had a beautiful breakfast too. Only negative was quite a few wood louse running round the bathroom, kept slippers on but may put you off if squeamish."

"The hotel was excellent. It felt very upmarket but without an upmarket price. Room was small but absolutely fine for one person. Wonderful bathroom! Food was excellent. Will be going back next year."
