Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. "This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. "As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park but it isn’t managed by the hotel. Perhaps a map of parking options be included on the info sheet given at check in would be useful. When you have been travelling for 5 hours, you just want to get settled asap Overall we had a lovely stay in ilfracombe."
