"It was all very good, we asked for a chair for the room and got one straight away. Towels were changed every day and it was all very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, all served fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Inn, the only thing I will mention is that we thought we were staying in Bideford, not realising the Hotel was in Westward Ho but it wasn't a problem."

"Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would highly recommend. "

"What a fabulous hotel. The couple who run it and own it Rebecca and Steve are the perfect hosts (apart from Steve’s Dad jokes). The food is always freshly cooked to order. Hot when it arrives and very tasty. The whole experience is amazing. From the beauty of the decor to the amazing layout, bar, dining and lounge area. Rebecca and Steve work extremely hard to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. We will be going back in the near future. Don’t miss out by looking elsewhere. "

"The view from the room was spectacular. Sam and Annie were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Infact we were talking to her about lemon cola that was available years ago and as we were leaving she presented us with a can she had seen in the supermarket. Breakfast was great and plentiful. "Lovely property ideally located in Coome Martin. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely gardens with outside pool. Dave and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and nothing is too much trouble. We had a great time staying there and is an ideal base to explore Devon! Parking is a little tricky on a bit of an upslope but there are plenty of spaces available. We will be back again when in Devon."
