Friendly host, good breakfast and rooms well equipped with things that you would need for a short stay.

The hotel was wonderful - we had a lovely, spacious, quiet room. Breakfast was excellent as were the meals we had in the Bistro and in the restaurant. It exceeded our expectations - the reviews had made us nervous of noise etc. from wedding parties but we were there across a busy August weekend with weddings and a coach party and it didn't affect us at all. We were visiting our son who was working in Belfast and we had hired a car so we could tour around. He was also able to get taxis to us...

This is not our first visit to the salty dog, we usually travel with our Westie Iona who is treated like a vip here. So when travelling without her we didn’t hesitate to book again. My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. It was ideal as we landed at George best airport and it was only a short drive away. We were greeted at the front desk by this lovely gentleman who made us feel more than welcome. Helped us with where to get food despite the late hour. He even stored my partners insulin in the fridge somewhere safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had no disturbances all night. Highly recommend!!

Stayed for one night and could not fault it. In particular, the staff were attentive and extremely pleasant. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was lovely with great service and it was reasonably priced. The hotel is city centre so a very good location but you will get a view of the street. Our room was a good size and very clean and overall hotel was clean and very nice.

Really nice hotel with great location

Great hotel, great staff, great location. Only let down is the parking. Value parkings definition of 24hrs is "after midnight". So I you park at 11pm and pick your car up at 8am the next day.... boom....£17 with hotel discount. If The Flint negotiated a better deal for drivers using the car park, this hotel would beat all others. It's an amazing place to stay and feels like a home from home.

Staf were lovely very friendly, breakfast good choice. Lots of places to eat nearby, train station just round the corner. If you like live music the Empire 5 minutes away has music every night
