Walked to nearby villages and caught the train from Southease station to get further afield. Staff were really helpful and we enjoyed eating at the cafe during our hassle-free visit. "

"Nice friendly staff on arrival. Room was large and comfortable, with ensuite bathroom. Lovely large bath, but shower was a bit hit and miss with temperature. Well stocked hospitality tray which included hot chocolate and biscuits, plus tea and coffee. Hotel is conveniently located to town, beach, restaurants and theatres. On site parking was a bonus (and free). Breakfast was cereal, fruit salad etc, plus choice of hot food, cooked to order. This was our third stay and will be returning....

"A very comfortable stay in the cultural & independent business area of Brighton, including local cafes and restaurants. With the room we booked, it was nice to have a host of appliances plus an array of tea, coffee bags/pods and some complimentary snacks to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, light and spacious with tasteful mood lighting and décor. The dual sinks were a nice feature and the shower was powerful yet eco. The staff we met were friendly and accommodating and we were shown...

"Perfect for a stop over before catching the ferry in Newhaven. With Hotels.com we only paid £26.19 for a double room. Bargain! Round the corner from a great bar, the Bohemian with an excellent DJ set and good vibes. Would stay again, very convenient location and near the sea front. Ample street parking and free after 6pm, can always get a permit from the hotel. Quick easy check on. Room was small but didn’t expect luxury, hot shower but not a ‘power’ shower. Pleasant staff at check in. "

"The hotel is ok for a stopover. Decor and upkeep needs some tlc. Breakfast ok. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the city centre. National express stops outside. Basic English breakfast buffet of the usual. A choice of eggs would be good. In general not bad value of the stay. "
