"The hotel is located conveniently to walk to Windsor Castle and surrounding shops and diners. But it also makes it noisy at night. The hotel is a beautiful building, but needs renovating in the bathrooms and other areas of the building. More cleaning needed as well. That said, price is cheaper than other hotels in the area. "

"I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times. The location in Windsor is excellent. Everything is within walking distance. The other times I’ve stayed there, I was in the newer annex building. Those rooms are modern and quiet. This time I stayed in the older main building. The view was lovely, but the room had some quirky things about it. Firstly, the floor boards creaked a lot. When my neighbours walked around, I could hear their floor boards too. They seemed to be awake a lot during the night, waking me up. I could also hear them talking. The room didn’t have a small refrigerator, which I missed. I tried sleeping with the windows open but the noise from outside was disruptive. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and functional but a small stand would have been a good addition to put toiletries on. The breakfast is excellent. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I will stay there again, but not in the main building."
