In need of an update. Good news is that it gets better after the lobby and reception. The rooms are relatively roomy and clean. same applies to bathroom. garden past the lobby in the back is a pleasant surprise and a better choice compared to the lobby. The breakfast was ok; nice touch at breakfast was the juicer for patrons to make their own fresh mixes. Sound from restaurant across the street could be an issue for lower level rooms, but the restaurant (Rita's?) is worth a visit for a drink and local crowd flavor. Overall, the neighborhood is the main main draw for the hotel. Pedestrian walk along canal around the corner with a lot of good restaurant and cafe choices full of good crowds. Metro station is a 10 min walk.
We travelled as a group and on arrival was told one persons room had been cancelled ? After our italian family member intervened this was rectified but not before they stepped in.our booking was ok but felt some staff were quite rude to other members of our party.some of the facilities in the rooms were not working eg tv phone , shower , disapointing .although our room was fine.
friendly and helpful staff. Some of the staff were not proficient with english so we struggled to communicate but they were trying their best which was appreciated. Thank god they had a PC monitor on the desk so that we could communicate.
My boyfriend and I had the best Valentine's day weekend at Cocco house. Although this 2-story apartment was almost too huge for only two of us, we enjoyed every bit of it. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and charming, and the kitchen is well equipped. And yes, the amazing jacuzzi almost made us not to want to leave the house! It is located on a quiet block but very close to local bars and restaurants. Subway is also close by, so you can easily get to the center of Milan. The owner, Fabio, was very helpful even before our arrival and answered every question we had. I recommend this place to any couples and to families with children as there are plenty of rooms. We will definitely stay here again!
Like Paris's Left Bank, this area is awash with artisans, painters and tourists. Once navigable canals flowing across the city, the Navigli have been reopened to pleasure boats, and cafés and restaurants now line the banks. Leonardo da Vinci helped to design the canals and to the west is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie showcasing his famous masterpiece 'The Last Supper'.
