We travelled as a group and on arrival was told one persons room had been cancelled ? After our italian family member intervened this was rectified but not before they stepped in.our booking was ok but felt some staff were quite rude to other members of our party.some of the facilities in the rooms were not working eg tv phone , shower , disapointing .although our room was fine.
We loved the hotel. The location, in retrospect, wasn't ideal as we found ourselves using the subway frequently. The walk to the subway, though short, was ugly. We had one technical issue with our room (blown fuse) which was resolved quickly and competently.
This hotel was simple and straightforward. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a filling selection of continental pastries, cakes, fruit, sliced ham and cheese, etc. I don't think food is generally available other than breakfast but they were able to recommend a nearby restaurant. The room was fine and free wifi is provided. The bed (and especially the pillow) was quite firm but it was fairly comfortable nonetheless. It is about 5 minutes' walk away from Romolo metro station on the M2 line and was quite easy to get to from Stazione Centrale. Although it's a little way out from the city centre, it is useful if attending a conference in one of the other hotels nearby.

I returned to this hotel as I was impressed the first time and found it even better this time. The roooms have been refurbished and are modern and comfortable, well serviced and very quiet. Ideal location, off the main road, well connected to the nearby Wagner /Fiera area by bus, but an underground parking is also available. No restaurant, only fairly basic breakfast, but plenty of choice in the area. Great for single and business travellers as conference facilities are also available. Cheaper if booked via Expedia than directly. A little gem.

Like Paris's Left Bank, this area is awash with artisans, painters and tourists. Once navigable canals flowing across the city, the Navigli have been reopened to pleasure boats, and cafés and restaurants now line the banks. Leonardo da Vinci helped to design the canals and to the west is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie showcasing his famous masterpiece 'The Last Supper'.
