"A very enjoyable three night stay at the Stables. A lovely conversion with just the right level of accommodation and facilities for us two and our dog. A quality finish throughout and plenty of space in each room for a comfortable relaxed time. The location is idyllic with the quiet surrounding countryside and the canal and locks alongside. "Location was a superb venue. Staff were great and friendly, room was comfy, clean and nice and it was a weekend with racing, so we enjoyed watching from the rooftop bar. 10/10 would go again! PS. If you get a chance, go to saracens for dinner and a drink. "

Very good value for money

"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only. Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one. The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities. The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "
