The location is outstanding, just a few steps from Nagano Station. The reception staff member was efficient and professional. The hotel is old, faded, and tired, suffering from years of deferred maintenance. However, given its location, it is value for money.

The previous reviews I read were better than what I saw when I got there. The property seemed scary with old fashion key and large fob, room was darker than photos, breakfast was lukewarm, on paper plates and cups. Friendly staff, but I was glad it was only one night.

It doesn’t worth with money . Go Toyoko hotel .

The room is very dark. No night in the entrance hallway. If you check in at night time , bring your torch with you for lamination. There is only 1 light in the bathroom and 2 ceiling lights in the room. They still use key to open and lock door. Breakfast is a joke. Only coffee , ice waterand orange juice. 2 kinds of pastries. Miso soup. Curry and rice. That’s all.

Wi-Fiはほぼ使えない。ごく短時間接続できたかと思うとすぐに途切れる。備え付けの説明書によれば，ホテルで１つのIDとパスワードのようだが，接続先の候補には宿泊している部屋番号が入ったIDも候補に表示され，その方が繋がりやすそうだと思うが，そちらのパスワードの表示なし。 安価な古いビジネスホテル。長野駅徒歩１分の近さ。１階がフロントで受付１人。恐らく外国籍の女性だが，日本語全く問題なし。１５時チェックイン前の荷物預け問題なし。チェックイン問題なし。クシと歯磨きセットはフロント前から各自もらう。宿泊費事前決済済みも宿泊税200円要支払い。２～７階にワンフロア概ね３室の廊下のない階段室型でエレベーターは１台もイライラなし。部屋着はワンピースタイプなので，部屋の中だけ用。眼の前は学習塾が入るビルで窓から学生が勉強する姿。駅前もドンキホーテなどが少し見える。冷房が最大になっており，入室時にちゃんと涼しかった。物を置くスペースが少ない。窓側にあるデスク的なカウンターも，カーテンと窓との間の空間が妙に広く，カーテンを締めると奥行きの半分くらいにカーテンがかかり，さらに置くスペースが狭くなる。両サイドはテレビ，電気ポット，茶器などの備品が占拠。ベッドの上を除けば，あとは冷蔵庫の上と，ベッドの枕元の薄い台のみ。部屋に入ってすぐのバストイレ室前の部分に照明がなくて暗い。ユニットバス・トイレは問題なし。服用のスプレーは完備でたっぷり中身も入っていた。洋服掛け棚は扉付きで狭い。壁付けのパイプにかけるタイプの方が空間の有効活用になると思う。ハンガーも２つしかなく，夏でも足りない。背もたれ付きのイスがあるが，上部が半円状のデザインのため，ズボンや濡れたタオルなどが掛けづらく，ハンガー代わりにならない。冬は洋服も増えるので，問題が多い。旅行用の折りたたみハンガーを複数持参したほうが良い。朝食バイキング(完全セルフ)あり。会場は狭い。部屋食可能。満室時に朝食時間がかぶると座れないかも。東横INNのような給仕さんは不在。１人フロントのスタッフがたまに補充に来る。３種のパン(オーブントースター１台あり)，味噌汁，ごはん，大きな具は入っていないカレー，出し放しのオレンジジュース(別途の氷もない)，ホットコーヒー。すべて紙皿と紙コップ。全品１つずつ食べて，カレーをおかわりして満腹。１０時チェックアウト問題なし。チェックアウト当日の荷物預かりは恐らく不可。
