Clean hotel, friendly staff, good location in Myeondong close to the Euljiro-il ga station (green line) and not far from the Myeongdong station (light blue line). Free WiFi and a computer you can use on all the levels.
Downsides - there's only 1 washer and dryer and the laundry room closes at 10.30pm. Room was a little small too.
Front desk one female receptionist assist me to make a reservation of the rail bicycle which is difficult to me and housekeeping very good of the cleanliness and hygiene.
I stayed six night and felt very suitable to me.
After the first night we decided that the room was way too small for two people so we upgraded to a larger room and were much happier. We stayed an entire week. The location is good...near the heart of shopping and very accessible by cab or train. Even though the outside streets were packed with people the inside of the hotel is quiet.
Our first cab driver had a hard time finding the hotel and we went around and around for a bit as it is tucked inside the mostly walking area.
We would stay again.
We stayed at the hotel for a family holiday (I had previously stayed there for a short business trip). The hotel was spotlessly clean and the decor was modern. Although the rooms were relatively small by western standards, they were comfortable and had a large-comfortable bed, cable TV and kettle etc. Breakfast was very good and included both Korean and western (ie bacon, cereal, scrambled eggs etc) food..
The hotel is relatively well located just 3-4 minutes walk from a subway station. This is up a fairly steep hill but we didn't mind this too much. We used the hotel shuttle bus to and from the airport which was well worth the additional cost as it avoided train cross-connections and hill-climbing with luggage. Also provided excellent views of the city during the 1 hour journey. Major point for us all was the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff - they were all excellent and made our stay a very pleasant one.
This exuberant shopping district on Seoul Subway Line 4 bursts with young people and tourists. Closed to cars, the pedestrian shopping area is filled with brand-name outlets and street vendors selling faux merchandise. The historic Myeongdong Theater is here with regular live performances. Visit in early April or September for parades, music, and fashion shows during the Myeongdong Festival.
