Like the house cleaning done very well. We forgot to take our money and wallet in the safe after check out and went back to get it. Everything was still intact. Good. Near myeongdong and accessible to the train too
Not only is the Sejong Hotel centrally located in Seoul?s down-town corporate and governmental business district, as well as …More
Hotel upgraded my room at checkin to an amazing suite. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Communicating in English was not a problem. Also excellent amenities and they stock the minifridge with refreshments at the same cost (and at least in one case cheaper) than convenience store prices! 1500 soju without leaving your room!
"Very modern, clean and close to public transport."
We used the Airport Express to travel to Seoul Station and picked up the hotel shuttle bus which is timed to meet the AREX. Very impressed! Very pleasant staff. Room was very modern and clean. Good breakfast, worth paying the extra price. Very good location, public transport within 10 minutes walk.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Seoul as a weekend side trip from a longer trip in China. Even though the two countries are close (only 1.5 hr flight from Shanghai), they are quite different! This hotel was wonderful, and I would differently recommended! Since it was new, they offered a grand opening deal. However, be aware that its name is similar to the Tmark Hotel, which is further down the street. The taxi driver took us there first, and we had to take a different taxi to the Tmark GRAND Hotel. Our new location was quite an improvement in quality :-) The let us check in slightly early, which was great; we received a card from the hotel with a map and address in Korean to prevent this destination errors via taxi when we stayed out late a few nights. However, one morning, our tour pick-up went to the Tmark Hotel instead, so you may want to be very clear in the distinction b/c we arrived slightly late. Since the hotel is near the metro/underground, getting to everything is simple; I used a mobile app with a downloaded metro map and route finder (that required not internet connection), so it was super easy and convenient. Since the hotel was right at the metro, we took it back to the airport, which was much cheaper than the taxi in.
This exuberant shopping district on Seoul Subway Line 4 bursts with young people and tourists. Closed to cars, the pedestrian shopping area is filled with brand-name outlets and street vendors selling faux merchandise. The historic Myeongdong Theater is here with regular live performances. Visit in early April or September for parades, music, and fashion shows during the Myeongdong Festival.
