"There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"We were greeted by very helpful & friendly staff and from the outside the hotel looked great. Sadly the decor inside the property left a to be desired with peeling paint work and thread bare carpets on the stail ways. Not the most encouraging introduction. The shower gel container was empty on arrival and the room was incorrectly made up on one occasion, set for single despite having been correctly attended to previously for us."

"Excellent, upmarket hotel in the centre of the city. Parking was busy and would probably be full by early evening. We chose the hotel because of the parking and had no problems with our large car. Good breakfast but no a la carte choice - i.e. fixed price for the buffet."

"The staff were extremely helpful & friendly, the hotel is situated in an ideal position, the breakfasts were excellent, but not so enthusiastic about the evening meals, all in all we did enjoy our stay."

"Very impressive site, looks like a mansion from exterior, . The entrance is very impressive too, very clean and reception is well located with very friendly helpful staff. My room was very large with very good facilities , overlooking a garden courtyard. Lovely room. My only two concerns were that it was close to a gravel car park and the noise of the gravel in the car wheels was a bit loud at times, bearing in mind that this is also a golf club.. and the other was that the fridge was very load but I overcame that by unplugging it as I wasn't using it. And turned it back on before leaving the room on check out day... The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent as was the the waiters and waitresses. Overall had a great stay"

"Grace was super friendly and kind and made our son laugh making jokes with him. She gave us her advice on what food to order when I asked and it didn't disapoint. All the staff were super lovely. Hotel was really nice and clean, lovely swimming pool and chill out area. Lots of spaces to park."

"Loved the children’s free ice or fruit . Children’s play area at breakfast. Dog friendly. Loved the warm pool and hot tub. I’m diabetic and had a low blood sugar. The man at the pool helped me . The lady at the bar read the list of about 15 favourers of ice cream . She was lovely. We had stay for funeral in the area . Would stay again"
